Change Corporation and Business Web Software host local government event in Western Australia
Change Corporation and Business Web Software joined forces to jointly host a Local Governement Business Briefing in Perth, Western Australia looking at Best Practice from Australia and the UK.
A number of local governemnt organisations from across Western Australia attended the briefing to learn more about:
- Current information management issues and trends facing local government in Australia;
- Best practice information management from local government leaders in Australia and the UK; and
- Project examples from the UK showcasing solutions that have helped local government improve their service delivery and streamline administration.
Brett Husbands, CEO of Business Web Software, shared experiences from UK Local Government as leaders in e-Government. He spoke about the successes and lessons learned from the UK’s strict e-Government agenda and best practice with regard to online services, joined up back-office systems and mobile working.
