First meeting for the Firmstep Software Advisory Group

The Firmstep Software Advisory Group has met for the first time to discuss and make recommendations for the direction and development of the Firmstep platform and company.
The Group consists of representatives from selected customer organizations who have demonstrated innovation, commitment, and excellence in working with Firmstep. The role of the Group is to ensure that the future direction and development of Firmstep is driven by the customer community.
On the agenda was a first look at the latest developments to the Firmstep extranet, including a new suggestions system. The suggestions system allows the community to suggest and vote for product changes, new features and ‘Big Ideas’ for the Firmstep platform. The suggestions system will drive the prioritisation of development. The Group were asked to provide feedback and ideas on how the system could be used and improved.
Also on the agenda was an exploration of the benefits of Cloud Computing, to ensure understanding of the concepts within the customer community, the benefits, and the implications for customers moving to the Firmstep platform in the Cloud. The discussion covered the areas of scalability, reliability, costs and data security.
